#WorkInProgress Leadership Development is a platform that focuses on building individuals and leaders to improve collaboration, strategy, individual development, diversity, equity & inclusion, and much more. Meet the trainer

Hello! My name is Francine Tolbert and I’m a skilled facilitator and trainer with over 15 years of professional and leadership experience. I am the owner of Work in Progress Media LLC and founder of #WorkInProgess Leadership Development.I am extremely passionate about learning and development. I graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications.I’m also a mother, which is my favorite full-time job.

After 14 years at Target Corporation as Senior Pay and Benefits Engagement Consultant and 6 years owning my own Business Operations Consulting Company, I have re-directed my career to focus on community and leadership development. I am now using my professional and life experiences to advise, facilitate, train, coach, and develop new leaders. My main objectives are to collaborate, problem solve, strategize and assist organizations and individuals with their training, development, and coaching needs.

Outside of work, I’m a political enthusiast, I love documentaries, a huge football & basketball fan, singer, writer, life student, history nerd, and basketball & softball mom.

In this training, I talk about the importance of social and ethnic identity within the workplace. You’ll reflect on how we have come to understand our own identities, its impact on building relationships, and increasing productivity simply by understanding who your employees are.

In this leadership development training, I approach leadership development from a different perspective: how direct reports/employees respond to leadership and different leadership styles. Join me on this workshop journey where we’ll take challenges employees face and turn them into opportunities to lead your team.

SHow up authentically everywhere

I sincerely believe in the transformative power of knowledge sharing.
